KO.D.E.P with great success is also implementing and this year 2020, the project with the title: “ESTIA II: Rental accommodation scheme for asylum seekers”, with collaboration with the UNHCR, a collaboration that it has started from the May of 2018. The program is co-funded by the European Union (DG HOME).
Within the framework of this project, the Piraeus Public Benefit Enterprise (KODEP) works with the UNHCR and undertakes to operate 280 reception places for asylum seekers and refugees referred by UNHCR for accommodation, through the extent of the rental agreements of private apartments in the city of Piraeus. At the same time, KO.D.E.P will provide comprehensive assistance (including psychological support, interpretation, transportation arrangements and referrals / accompaniment to medical and legal actors).
